Fear Not: Moving From Terror to Trust

All our fears can be encapsulated in three words: security, life, and justification. But the Bible repeatedly tells us, “Fear not!” So how do we live without fear? In this episode, the WHI hosts consider how fear can shift from terror to trust, from law and gospel. They examine the biblical promises that undergird the commands to fear not, celebrating the comfort found in facing our fears united to Christ.

Quote:

But what exactly is the feat of God? It is an emotion, to be sure, but it does not bubble up inside of us. Rather, it is provoked when we are confronted with the God who exists outside of our inner psyche. The short definition of the fear of God is sanity.
