The Doctrine of Justification is central to all we believe!

It’s deeply theological. It’s foundational to our faith. And it takes work.

So how do we help others understand this doctrine? For 30 years White Horse Inn radio and podcast and Modern Reformation magazine have been trusted voices serving churches and Christians with faithful doctrinal teaching. Our Core Christianity website has thousands of articles on theological
topics, written in a way that helps someone who is on the front end of this journey. It’s also why we launched the Core Radio broadcast two years ago this month specifically to answer biblical questions at a basic level.

This WHI listener reflected on iTunes how the teaching has made a difference:

One of the assertions of the Reformation was “justification is the doctrine by which the church stands or falls.” To lose this confession that sinners are justified before God by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone, as taught by Scripture alone, would be to lose the Church and the Gospel it proclaims. These podcast guys get this like no other podcast guys I’ve ever listened to. They hammer the doctrine of justification into your ears with a relentless and continuous emphasis on Christ crucified for you for the forgiveness of your sins. As a Christian who lives in a constant state of tension between [being saint and sinner at the same time] — I need to be reminded daily that I’m forgiven and at peace with God on account of Jesus. I sin and forget this. They preach, I hear, and I believe and remember. This is a fantastic podcast! I can’t get enough of it.

You help make this kind of change possible—by “knowing what you believe and why you believe it” yourself and with your prayers and financial support. Consider supporting us today with a gift of $50 or $100 dollars and choose to get one or both of my volumes on Justification as our thank you for your support.

Folks, these volumes are admittedly academic. On the one hand “justification” could be summed up in a simple statement. It’s the positive declaration of righteousness based on Christ’s work that lifts the burden of working to earn our salvation. Yet, on the other hand, we could spend a lifetime delving into the depths and riches of its meaning.

We pray you will never tire of learning more about the “doctrine on which the church stands or falls.” We will never tire of talking and writing about it. I hope you’ll support our efforts today.

In Christ,
Michael Horton
