Spending a day at the ocean can be a wonderful experience, but it can also be dangerous. Sometimes the undercurrents can be deceptive, and the waves punishing. As a result, parents must warn their children about these dangers, and watch them closely as they head into the water. According to Brett Kunkle, co-author of A Practical Guide to Culture, this is a great analogy for how we should raise our kids in today’s secular culture.
